“Every particle in your body is communicating with the entire cosmos.
Yoga is about experiencing that.” – Sadhguru
THE MISSION
Our fundamental mission is to offer the science of inner wellbeing to every human being.
A science that helps a person realise the ultimate potential within, offering Yoga programs towards this aim, to raise every human being to the peak of their potential, so that they are exuberant, all inclusive and in harmony within themselves and the world.
THE LOGO
In the ocean of possibilities to reach the ultimate potential, the logo of JIYA has been designed as a combination of 4 elements:
〰︎ 8 Petals 〰︎
〰︎ Sun & Moon 〰︎
〰︎ 108 Dots 〰︎
〰︎ Diamond 〰︎
8 Petals
The 8 petals symbolize the 8 limbs of Yoga:
1. Yama – external ethics
2. Niyama – internal ethics
3. Asana -posture
4. Pranayama – control of the vital life force
5. Pratyahara – withdrawal of the senses
6. Dharana – concentration
7. Dhyana – meditation
8. Samadhi – merging with the Divine
Sun & Moon
The word “Ha” means Sun, “Ta” means Moon.
“Hatha” means the Yoga to bring balance between the Sun and the Moon in you, or the Pingala – masculine – and Ida – feminine – in you.
108 Dots
The distances between the Sun and the Earth, the distances between the Moon and the Earth, the way the planet rotates and the impact it has – all these things have been looked at with great care. The diameter of the Sun multiplied by 108 equals the distance between Sun and Earth and the diameter of the Moon multiplied by 108 equals the distance between Earth and Moon. The diameter of the Sun is 108 times the diameter of the Earth.
The dots represent 108 seeds that if nurtured can blossom to their full potential.
Diamond
The diamond represents pure consciousness, a boundless dimension of intelligence which is the very source of creation.
It’s the Yoga purpose. It’s the blissful state, the ultimate aim of yoga. Absolute reality. If you become identified with consciousness, you will experience everyone as yourself.
This is what Yoga means.
